What is the San Damiano community saying?
“We have partnered with One Dance At A Time to lead monthly dances for our students and their guests on campus. These dances have been so well received, that we held a dance open to the public this month, and it was a great success. These dances have been such a joy for the students and their guests. The dance instruction provided is wonderful and easy to understand. The atmosphere is classy, modest and full of fun. Our students always look forward to the next dance. This is a major piece of the puzzle that our society has been lacking for too many decades. We are very grateful for the Garcia family and their mission to restore Catholic Culture One Dance At A Time.” ~Joanne Gaston, Director of Business Office and Student Affairs

What is the House of Bethany community saying?
“House of Bethany was so happy to partner with One Dance at a Time for our very 1st Father-Daughter Dance. This event supported our mission in drawing girls closer to Jesus by cultivating the special relationship they share with their fathers, who are the tangible witness to God the Father.
It was a great joy watching Maria Garcia instruct fathers to honor their daughters with a bow and then teach them how to lead their girls in the Waltz, Fox Trot, and the Virginia Reel. The Contra Dances were especially fun and most of the dads spent the entire time on their feet. One Dance at a Time was so wonderful to work with and they provided everything to make this event so memorable for all of the girls at House of Bethany!” ~Jocelyn Jansen, Founder and Director of House of Bethany
“I’m not a naturally coordinated person and have always struggled with choreographed dance moves (my wife’s feet can definitely confirm this). But One Dance at a Time was a completely different experience.
They don’t just demonstrate the steps—they talk you through each movement while showing it in real time, with multiple instructors modeling the different roles. On top of that, several roving dance ninja instructors circulate throughout the room, offering gentle corrections, refining your form, and even showing variations if you’ve already mastered the basics.
They start with foundational steps like the waltz and foxtrot, then gradually build into more advanced line and group dances that layer on those fundamentals. It’s a thoughtful, confidence‑building progression that works for every skill level.
It’s truly a unique and enjoyable experience, and one my family and I have enjoyed several times.” ~Jeff – House of Bethany Father
“I’m not much of a dancer. So when I signed up for One Dance at a Time’s father/daughter dance, I was really looking forward to spending time with my girls, but I’ll be honest: I wasn’t much looking forward to the dancing part. But the dance instruction that Maria provided was superb, and not only was I able to dance, but I had a really great time doing it, and so did my daughters!” ~ John – House of Bethany Father

What is Musica Vitae saying?
“Musica Vitae has had the pleasure of experiencing One Dance at a Time through several of their events, most recently their Spring Formal. The evening was marked by elegance, joy, and a remarkable sense of community. From the very first instruction, it was clear that their approach is thoughtful and accessible to beginners, who were guided through each step and able to participate with confidence. The evening offered a variety of dances, moving seamlessly from foundational steps to lively contra dances, creating an atmosphere that was both refined and welcoming. When we first learned about One Dance at a Time, we quickly discovered that their mission closely aligns with our own—to renew culture through beauty, art, and shared human experience. We are honored to partner with One Dance at a Time for the upcoming Music of Life Summer Ball in Indianapolis, and we look forward to continued collaboration, including their Royal Ball this October. Together, we are excited to bring an experience of elegance, joy, and cultural renewal to our community”. ~ Musica Vitae
