What are fathers saying?
“I’m not a naturally coordinated person and have always struggled with choreographed dance moves (my wife’s feet can definitely confirm this). But One Dance at a Time was a completely different experience.
They don’t just demonstrate the steps—they talk you through each movement while showing it in real time, with multiple instructors modeling the different roles. On top of that, several roving dance ninja instructors circulate throughout the room, offering gentle corrections, refining your form, and even showing variations if you’ve already mastered the basics.
They start with foundational steps like the waltz and foxtrot, then gradually build into more advanced line and group dances that layer on those fundamentals. It’s a thoughtful, confidence‑building progression that works for every skill level.
It’s truly a unique and enjoyable experience, and one my family and I have enjoyed several times.” ~Jeff – House of Bethany Father
“I’m not much of a dancer. So when I signed up for One Dance at a Time’s father/daughter dance, I was really looking forward to spending time with my girls, but I’ll be honest: I wasn’t much looking forward to the dancing part. But the dance instruction that Maria provided was superb, and not only was I able to dance, but I had a really great time doing it, and so did my daughters!” ~John – House of Bethany Father
